This was the first trip for me in the Microskills Linc School. I was so excited. In the morning ,Joseph and my classmates,we met at the southbound of Yonge/Sheppard Subway Station. Our first stop was the
Redpath Sugar Museum, which was built in the Canada's oldest sugar factory. The Redpath was the brand of sugar which named by the lastname of the boss John Redpath. John Redpath built this factory in 1880's in Montreal. After many years, this factory was be rebuilt in Toronto in 1950's.
Redpath Sugar Museum is the place where we can know the procedure and the history of sugar making.
The second stop was the Sugar Beach. The name of Sugar Beach was of this area near the Redpath Sugar Factory and Ontario Lake. That was a beautiful place with white sands , many big pink Umbrellas and Muskoka Chairs. Many birds and ducks were there. I think this area was suitable for the lovers. But unfortunately, it was heavy raining. So after visited that area, we went to the nearest supermarket to have a rest.
The third stop for me was the St.Lawrence Market which was not far away from the Ontario Lake. St.Lawrence Market was an old market which sells fresh seafood, vegetables, breads, cheeses and so on. It was a good place for travellers to see how the people live in Toronto. Compared with this kind of market in China, St Lawrence Market was so quiet and clean. While in China, there was a lot of people and so crowd in the market. It was the different.
What makes me surprise was the rain stopped and it was sunny in the afternoon. After lunch, I walked in the Front St and went to the King Subway station. The last stop for me was the St. James Catholic Church. It was an old building with the high towel. I took some pictures there.
Though I felt a little tired when I came home, I felt very happy about the trip.
